Laughter

Laughing with Rich will be what I miss most. He found humor in every situation. One funny memory I have is when he was flying quite a bit with a corporate position and had attained the “silver” status. He left a message on my voicemail in a whisper that was something like this - “you won’t believe where I am. I got upgraded to first class and it is amazing, drinks and food, really wide seats. (pause) I wonder what you get when you get to the gold status....probably get to sit up with the pilot....(long pause).....steer.” I laughed so hard. I forwarded it to Delta customer service who thanked me for the wonderful commentary that made the entire department smile.
